What do we spend money on?
Most of our money is spent supporting our family days. In comparison to other tasks the family day is very expensive and can run into several thousand pounds. We also spend money on printing, stamps, paper, printer ink, website hosting, telephone bills and other costs associated with administration.
We do not offer grants to individuals to purchase equipment and all of our money is used within the UK except where we offer some web based services to overseas families.
Financial support is offered to all families attending family days. This can be used against hotel bills or traveling costs.
We want as many families to come to the family day as possible – if hotel and travelling costs deter you from coming to the family day please contact us to see if we can help.
The committee freely gives up their free time to run the support group. We do not have any paid employees.
