Our Events
Annual Events
Each year, our members gather across different UK regions for a weekend event, staying 1 to 3 nights in various locations. These gatherings foster connections among individuals facing similar challenges and include a range of activities to build camaraderie. Central to the event is our Annual General Meeting (AGM), which sparks new initiatives, enhances support for those affected by Goldenhar syndrome, and raises public awareness. The itinerary adapts to the location, offering activities for all ages, from laser tag to museum visits, alongside informal socialising over meals, drinks, and trivia. Previous destinations include Kent, Chester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Sheffield, and Portsmouth.

Fundraisers/ Regional Events
We encourage our members to take the initiative to organise local events for individuals with Goldenhar syndrome. These events aim to bring together those affected by the condition, fostering a sense of community and support. Additionally, these gatherings serve as a platform for fundraising efforts to support ongoing research and resources for Goldenhar syndrome.
To assist our members in their efforts, we provide financial subsidies to help cover a portion of the event costs. This support ensures that more events can take place, making it easier for individuals with Goldenhar syndrome and their families to connect, share experiences, and benefit from mutual support. By facilitating these events, we hope to build a stronger, more connected community dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Goldenhar syndrome.
